ZODWA WABANTU SAYS SHE STILL PLANS TO ATTEND THE HARARE INTERNATIONAL CARNIVAL IN ZIMBABWE DESPITE AN OUTCRY OVER HER APPEARANCE
The dancer made headlines last week after it was revealed that Zim officials wanted her to perform at the carnival in September, but only if she wore underwear.
Zodwa, who is famous for going pantyless, was furious at the condition, and publicly stated that she would wear (or not wear) whatever she wanted.
“Look, people need to know that they cannot tell us how to live our lives. I love the country and the reception I’ve received, but I don’t want to be told how to do me. Why would I mess with that? Maybe it’s all just for the hype,” she told TshisaLive.
But deciding whether or not to wear underwear was the least of her problems.
